The meeting of a new Angel

Sitting here reminiscing over the great times I have had so far in my life, is actually making me quite sad...Silly, I know!

The friendship's and loves you make with the amazing people you are lucky enough to meet along the way, can break your heart in ways you can't even imagine. But the age old saying of 'Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all' still stands strong in this case. Even though they are never truely lost, just in a different time zone to you!

The one's you meet that you just can't forget are engraved in your memories forever. And the meeting of these people is always magical...you just don't know it yet.

Let me tell you the story of one of the most special, magnificent people I had the pleasure of meeting. Amongst the days of being a sea dweller on the Great Barrier Reef, Australia...we had a passenger with the most beautiful smile and laugh. She filled the boat with an atmosphere so special that we decided to keep her!

After moving her into my spare room, we became inseparable. It was just a shame that our time was only limited to a few months. It makes my heart fill with happiness knowing that she is still with my loved ones, even if it does break my heart a little that I am not there with them.

The best bit about this though is the reunion. One day, somewhere unexpected, you will see them again.

So you think....so it shall be. Always remember that.

The world is a small place....once you get your head around that, anything about it is possible.

Here one day, gone the next.

Some background Information....

Now, the thing I’m finding the hardest, is deciding how to start this blog…?
I know what I want to write about....it's the journey of how I'm going to get it down into words that seems to be the tricky thing!

Just like traveling, once you have the first few steps down to a T, the rest just flows into place :) and moving your home from country to country becomes easier and more exciting each time

So right now, amongst the search of new adventures and dive job's for us to head off to...the photo's have got me reminiscing on how we first met....so I thought I would share the story with you!

The Day We Started Our Adventure…

After living on Roatan, Honduras for around 9 months, my feet were getting itchy and a new Paradise was on the cards. Falling in love was not on my radar! I had heard stories of this handsome new diver/fire fighter roaming around the island, and I had an urge to meet him. To say we became close quickly would be an understatement!
We lived together for at least 2 weeks before we went on our first date! We have never done anything in our relationship that would classify as "normal"! But...that's what makes it work with us :)

At the time, my best friend was visiting me from England. So for 3 weeks straight, we played, laughed, told stories, made new ones and caught up on missed time together and this soon led to us being referred to as the 3 MUSKETEERS!

Those moments will forever be engraved on my mind...

That's the thing about traveling....the bonds you make with complete strangers, the memories you have of the sun setting over the ocean- still so vivid in your mind that if you close your eyes you can still see it...those moments, will change your life forever.
